DESCRIPTION:
Lacipa is a genus of moth in the Lymantriidae family

DISTRIBUTION:
gemmata occuring in the Congo,South Africa, Uganda , Zambia
nobilis occuring in Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Rwanda, Zambia and Zimabwe.

ARCTIINAE: Thyretes caffra ( Bar Maiden)

DISTRIBUTION:
Thyretes caffra is a moth in the family Erebidae. It was described by Wallengren in 1863. It is found in Botswana, Lesothu, Mozambique, Namibia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The larvae feed on Acacia Karoo
